Eckstein, Joe: - Joe Eckstein is the illustrator of over a dozen books for children, including Herby Gets a Life, which he also authored. Drawing and writing stories since he can remember, he has a Bachelor's degree in fine art and has worked as an illustrator for a leading children's education publisher. He greatly enjoyed bringing Max's entertaining and heartwarming tale to life. He lives in Florida and is married to the love of his life, Kristen. Miller, Julie: - Julie Miller is the author of several short works of fiction and non-fiction for young readers and the author of nine textbooks in mathematics. She hopes that The Max Stories will be part of a ritual of bedtime reading for families around the world.
