Tras Fútbol Africano: crónicas, historia e investigación, publicado en 2020, llega la segunda parte del trabajo de Pancho Jáuregui en el que termina por completar al menos una historia por cada uno de los 54 países del continente africano. Si antes habló de los países con más desarrollo futbolístico como Camerún, Egipto, Nigeria, Marruecos o Senegal, en esta obra es el tiempo de conocer un poco más sobre los países con menos tradición futbolística, como Sudán del Sur, Comoras, Seychelles o Níger, por citar solo algunos.

El lector se encontrará en la primera parte con un repaso por las actuaciones africanas en los Mundiales Juveniles y un análisis de la dirección técnica en el continente, como así también la relación del Islam, China y el Covid con el fútbol en África, entre varios temas.

El resto del libro está dividido por zonas geográficas (África Occidental, África Central, África Oriental y África del Sur), contando historias de más de 30 países. Clubes, campeonatos, figuras icónicas, entrenadores y sucesos, con el fútbol como principal protagonista, se van entrelazando para dar forma a este libro.

Jáuregui, Francisco: - Francisco Javier Jáuregui nació en la localidad bonaerense de Suipacha (Bs. As., Argentina) el 1 de abril de 1985. Más conocido como Pancho, en 2009 comenzó con el sitio Sporting África para dar seguimiento y cobertura al fútbol africano. Se recibió de periodista en la Escuela Superior de Enseñanzas Deportivas y trabajó en Clarín y El Gráfico. Publicó en Revista Don Julio, Diario Perfil y Página 12, entre otros, y participó en el libro "Un Picado en el Maracaná". Cubrió el Mundial Femenino Sub 17 de Uruguay (2018), la Copa Africana de Naciones de Egipto (2019) y el Mundial de Beach Soccer de Paraguay (2019). Actualmente forma parte del staff de The Line Breaker.
