Your toddler just learned to walk, and you're wondering: is it too early to introduce tennis? Spoiler: it's not-but it's also not what you think. High Five Tennis is a parent's guide to introducing tennis to children as young as 9 months old-not by drilling technique, but by making it joyful, playful, and woven into everyday life.

What's Inside:

  • How to start with high fives and balloons (no court needed)
  • The progression from volleys to rallying to groundstrokes
  • Creative games that combine tennis with math, spelling, and learning
  • How to keep them loving the game for decades (not just months)
  • When and how to find the right coach as they advance and when to progress from one ball color to another
Whether your child is 9 months or 9 years old, this book will show you how to build a foundation of love for tennis that lasts a lifetime.

He has been teaching tennis for over thirty years in clubs across Washington, DC, New York City, and Westchester County. Kevin is a member of the Racket Sports Professionals Association. Kevin grew up being coached by former world number one Pauline Betz in his hometown of Washington, DC, and went on to play college tennis in Pennsylvania.
