Fernando F. Saccone nació en Buenos Aires en 1968. Se licenció en Psicología en la Universidad de Belgrano y estudió en la primera Escuela de Psicología del Deporte G.W.& F. Trabajó en el Centro de Deportes de Alto Riesgo del Hospital Ramos Mejía con boxeadores, automovilistas y otros deportistas, y para la Fuerza Área Argentina con sus pilotos y familiares. Fue disertante sobre el Entrenamiento Mental y la Rehabilitación Psicológica de la Lesión Deportiva en el Congreso Internacional de Ciencias aplicadas al Rugby, organizado en Buenos Aires por la Unión Argentina de Rugby y la Fundación Rugby Amistad. Es autor del Programa de Entrenamiento Mental para el Sistema de Alto Rendimiento de la UAR, desarrollando el Área de Psicología Deportiva en todos los Pladares, donde trabajó con jugadores, managers y staff, y con los entrenadores y seleccionados nacionales. También trabajó para el área de referato de la URBA. Es autor del libro Rugby Mental. Radiografía psicológica del juego y su entorno, de notable repercusión, y disertante habitual en cursos y congresos. En la actualidad desarrolla clínicas, intervenciones y asesorías para diferentes clubes y uniones de rugby de la Argentina y de países de habla hispana que solicitan con frecuencia de sus servicios.
