Das Buch zerfallt in zwei Teile: Zuerst ist die Wirkungs- weise und Behandlung der elektrischen Maschinen und Akkumulatoren allgemein erlautert, so dafi dieser Teil gewissermafien die Begriindung fiir den zweiten Teil ist, in welchem die beim Ingangsetzen und Ab- steIlen, sowie im Betrieb vorkommenden Handgriffe und Schaltungen fur besonders aU8gewahlte FaIle von Schaltungen und Anlagen, kurz in der vorzunehmenden Reihenfolge angegeben sind. Die in diesem zweiten Teil zusammengestellten Beispiele sind natiirlich nur eine beschrankte Auswahl der moglichen FaIle, weil einmal unmoglich aIle vorkommenden Schaltungen berucksichtigt werden konnen und weil nach Ansicht des Verfassers die gegebenen Schaltungen ge- niigen, urn den Leser zu befahigen, in anderen, ahnlichen Fallen sich selbst die Bedienungsvorschriften fur die Anlage aufzustellen.
