Die vorliegende Arbeit entstand am lnstitut fUr Strahlantriebe und Turboarbeits- maschinen der Rheinisch-Westfalischen Technischen Hochschule Aachen und wurde von seinem Leiter, Herrn Professor Dr.-lng. W. DETTMERING, angeregt und betreut. Die Arbeit beschaftigt sich mit der experimentellen und rechnerischen Ermittlung von Spannungskonzentrationen in gekerbten rotierenden Scheiben. Als experimentelles Untersuchungsverfahren wurde dabei die spannungsoptisch-stroboskopische Methode gewahlt und zur Reife entwickelt. Als Rechenverfahren wurde die Auflosung der lntegralgleichungen der ebenen Elastizitatslehre mittels linearer Gleichungssysteme angewendet. Die Untersuchungen wurden mit Unterstiitzung des Landesamtes fiir Forschung des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen durchgefiihrt, dem an dieser Stelle fiir seine finanzielle Hilfe freundlich gedankt wird. 3 Ubersicht Die einschlagige Literatur auf dem Gebiet der Spannungsermittlung an rotierenden Scheiben und Ringen stellt flir den Fall vorhandener Rotationssymmetrie nahezu erschopfende Informationen bereit. Der Fall gestorter Rotationssymmetrie, zum Bei- spiel durch Kerben am AuBenrand oder in der Nabe, wird dagegen meistens schon im Vorwort ausgeklammert. Vereinzelte experimentelle Arbeiten, die sich des spannungs- optischen Einfrierverfahrens oder der spannungsoptisch-stroboskopischen Untersu- chungsmethode bedienen, wurden erst im letzten Jahrzehnt bekannt. Die vorliegende Arbeit enthalt zunachst einen experimentellen Beitrag zur Verbesserung des spannungsoptisch-stroboskopischen MeBverfahrens, angewandt auf Probleme der Kerbwirkung in rotierenden ebenen Scheiben. 1m zweiten Teil der Arbeit wird unabhangig von den Problemen und Ergebnissen des ersten Teils versucht, auch einen Beitrag zur numerischen Spannungsberechnung in Scheiben mit gestorter Rotationssymmetrie zu liefern. Dieser Beitrag hat die numeri- sche Anwendung der seit langem bekannten Integralgleichungen von WEINEL [8] zum Gegenstand.
