LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) is used for cooking by around 1.3 billion people worldwide, or roughly 17% of the global population. The number of users is gradually increasing as more homes acquire access to contemporary cooking fuels. By 2030, it is anticipated that nearly 2 billion people might use LPG for cooking if efforts to enhance access continue to succeed.
