Er kommt durcb Dbung dahin, daB er die Zeichnung wie die Schrift in einem Buche liest. Fur den Ingenieur ist die Kenntnis del' Zeicbnung ein selbstverstandliches und unmittelbares Ergebnis seiner Schulung im Konstruieren. Fur alle anderen, die beruflich keine Zeicbnungen anzufertigen brauchen, ist es muhsam und zeit- raubend, den zeicbnerischen Ausbildungsweg des Konstrukteurs zu gehen. Der Verfasser glaubt, im vorliegenden Werkstattbuch eine Metbode entwickelt zu haben, die das Zeicbnunglesen vermittelt, obne daB der Lernende dabei auf dem ReiBbrett mit Zirkel und Lineal selbst Zeicbnungen anzufertigen braucht, die au13erlicb die Schopfungen des Konstrukteurs nachahmen. Er empfieblt allerdings dringend eine griindliche Dbung im Skizzieren und versteht darunter das freihandige Zeichnen nach AugenmaB, also ohne Benutzung von Zirkel und Lineal, wie es ja aucb in dem von jedem Lehrling der einschlagigen Fachrichtungen ge iihrten Berichtsheft fleiBig geubt wird. Diese Kunst, wi t genialer Fluchtigkeit ein klares Bild auf das Papier zu werfen, ist fur aIle, die mit Konstruktionszeichnungen in Berubrung kOJiUrlen, ungemein wichtig. Sie starkt das Schatzungsvermogen, vet- mittelt die Fahigkeit, GroBenverhaltnisse ricbtig zu erkennen und wiederzugebep und erzieht zur Ordnung.
