Andererseits muB zugegeben werden, daB durch ihn auch mehrere Industriezweige gefOrdert wurden oder neu erstanden sind. Zu besonderer Elute entwickelten sich diejenigen Betriebe, deren Erzeugnisse von unserem Heer und unserer Flotte benotigt werden. Als derartige Erzeugnisse der pharmazeutischen GroBindustrie kommen in erster Linie die Tabletten und Ampullen in Betracht. DieFabrikation dieser beidenArzneiformen hat seit Beginn des Krieges in steigendem MaBe auch in den Apotheken Aufnahme ge- funden, was urn so mehr zu begruBen ist, als durch das wachsende Spezialitatenunwesen die Benutzung der Apothekenlaboratorien zu Fabrikationszwecken immer mehr eine Seltenheit geworden ist. Die freundliche Aufnahme, welche die Ampullenpackungen wahrend der Kriegsmonate wegen ihrer zweckentsprechenden Eigenschaften sei tens der Arzteschaft fanden, hat dazu bei- getragen, diese Arzneiform auch del' zivilen Bevolkerung in ge- steigertem Grade zugangig zu machen. Sicherlich wurden flich schon jetzt viel mehr Apotheken mit der Herstellung und Abfiillung von Ampullenflussigkeiten befassen, wenn ihnen hierzu eine spezielle und ausfuhrliche Anleitung zur Yerfiigung gestanden hatte. Dem Mangel an einem derartigen Buche verdankt das vorliegende seine Entstehung. Man kann tiber das, was in das Gebiet der Ampullenfabrikation hineingehort, vcrflchiedener Meinung sein. Die Ampullenfabrikation ist ein Zweig der pharmazeutischen Technik, bei dem wir es mehr- fach im wahren Sinne des 'Vortes mit einem Grenzgebiet zwischen dieser und jener Disziplin zu tun haben. Bald handelt es sich urn Arbeiten, die rein pharmazeutischer Natur sind, bald um solche, die mehr der Bakteriologe als seine Domane betrachtet.
