Fachkunde für Elektroberufe" die Aufgabe gestellt, unter Anlehnung an die zur Zeit gültigen Lehrpläne der berufsbilden- den Schulen den Leh rstoff für die Handwerks- und Industrieberufe der elektrischen Energietechnik - unter Berücksichtigung der Verordnung über die Berufsausbildung in der Elektrotechnik vom 12. 12. 1972 - darzustellen. Der gebotene Lehrstoff richtet sich demnach insbesondere an Elektroinstallateure sowie an Elektroanlageninstalla- teure und Energieanlagenelektroniker (früher Starkstromelektriker). Er ist jedoch auch geeignet, den Elektromechanikern sowie den Elektrogerätemechanikern und Energiegeräteelektronikern, den Elektromaschinenbauern sowie den Elektromaschinen- wicklern und Elektromaschinenmonteuren die Grundzüge ihres Fachwissens zu ver- mitteln. Darüberhinaus bietet das vorliegende Fachkundebuch auch Fachschülern und Technikern eine gründliche Einführung in die Elektrotechnik. Die Gestaltung einer neuzeitlichen Fachkunde stellt die Verfasser heute vor allem vor die Aufgabe, die durch die technische Entwicklung bedingte Stoffülle mit den Gegeben- heiten der Ausbildung in Übereinstimmung zu bringen; eine sinnvolle Stoffauswahl war daher notwendig. Es erschien weiterhin erforderlich, eine für den Anfänger verständliche und daher aus- führliche Darstellung vor allem der physikalischen G ru nd I ag en der Elektro- tech n i k zu bringen. Auf diese Weise wird ein gutes Fundament für das Verständnis auch komplizierter elektrischer Vorgänge gelegt, z. B. der Stromleitung in Halbleitern und in Gasen sowie der Vorgänge im elektrischen Feld. Alle Maschinen, Geräte und Schaltungen, die bei dem heutigen Stand der Technik eine wesentliche Rolle spielen, sind ausführlich behandelt. Überholte Techniken sowie Be- schreibungen von Arbeitsverfahren (z. B. Installationstechnik) wurden nicht dargestellt.
