Diese Vorteile rrachen die Faserverbundwerkstoffe fUr industrielle, auch groBtechnische An-. wendung interessant, und ihr verstarkter Einsati in der Bundesrepub1ik Deutschland ist volkswirtschaftlich wGnschenwert. Nach den Erfo1gen der Forschung auf dem Gebiet der Faserverbundwerkstoffe sind nUl1ll'ehr umfangreiche Arbei ten insbesondere auf techno1ogischem Gebiet notwendig und in Gange, darnit eine breite Anwendung dieser Stoffklasse er- reicht wird. Urn diese Entwick1ung zu unterstiitzen, entsch10B sich das BMF!' zu einer Schwerpunktforderung. Die Projekttragerschaft wurde der DFVLR tibertragen und in die Projekttrager- schaft "Metallurgie-Werkstoffentwick1ung-RUckgewinnung" des Instituts fUr werkstoff-Forschung eingegliedert. Von 1982 bis 1985 wurden 16 Forschungs- und Entwick1ungsvorhaben mit einem Gesamtvo1urren von ca. 22, 5 Mio [lv! durch- geflihrt, davon betrug die BMF!'-Forderung 11,9 Mio [lv! (53%). Die Verbreitung des erarbeiteten Wissens stellt eine notwendige Erganzung des F]E-Programres dar. Diesem Zie1 dienen zwei Aktivitaten der Projekt- tragerschaft: die offentliche prasentation im Oktober 1985 in Andernach, bei der tiber die gewonnenen Ergebnisse berichtet und diskutiert wird, sowie die Veroffentlichung der Sch1uBberichte in dieser Buchreihe. 1980 er- schien ein erster Band tiber die bis dahin geforderten Arbeiten. Mit den jetzt fo1genden Banden sollen die Ergebnisse der zum Absch1uB kamenden Schwerpunktforderung dokurrentiert werden.
