Wenn wir es unternommen haben, in der vorliegenden Schrift unsere Erfahrungen zusammenzusteIlen, so hoffen wir, damit eine Erganzung zu den auf dem Gebiet der Hartmetallwerkzeug-Her- steHung und -Anwendung bestehenden Anleitungen zu bringen, weil wir die Zusammenstellung der wirtschaftlichen Arbeitsbedingungen fur Hartmetallwerkzeuge sowohl vom Standpunkt des Hartmetallherstellers, als auch vom Standpunkt des Verbrauchers von HartmetaHplatten aus eigenen Erfahrungen ubersehen. Wir m6chten ausdrucklich betonen, daB die im folgenden gegebenen Regeln fUr die Behandlung von Hartmetallwerkzeugen in manchen Fallen vielleicht nicht immer notwendig erscheinen, wir m6chten aber trotzdem empfehlen, in jedem Betrieb sowohl die Werkzeughersteller, als auch die Arbeiter an den Drehbanken und Bohr-und Frasmaschinen daraufhin zu schulen, die gegebenen Regeln in jedem Fall und streng zu erfilllen. Es darf nicht vergessen werden, daB die heutigen Hart- metallegierungen einen in ihrer Leistung hochgezuchteten Werkstoff darsteIlen, der nur dann den gewiinschten wirtschaftlichen Erfolg ergibt, wenn bei der Herstellung der HartmetaIlplatten, bei der Herstellung der Werkzeuge und bei ihrer Anwendung die gr6Bte SorgfaIt beachtet wird.
