1. Begriffsbestimmung. Das Wort "Metallspritzen" wird in der Technik o- mals für drei verschiedene Arbeitsverfahren gebraucht, und zwar: a) für das Spritzgie en (Druckgu ), b) für das Spritzpressen (Flie pressen oder Kaltspritzen), c) für das hier zu behandelnde Metallspritzverfahren. Um keine Mi verständnisse aufkommen zu lassen, ist es notwendig, diese drei Verfahren kurz zu kennzeichnen und nach den jetzt festgelegten Bezeichnungen zu benennen. a) Spritzgie en. Hierbei wird der flüssige Werkstoff unter Druck durch eine Düse in eine Form gepre t. Es entsteht so der bekannte Spritzgu , heute allgemein als Druckgu l bezeichnet. b) Spritzpressen. Durch schlagartiges Pressen wird der kalte Werkstoff unter hohem Druck zum Flie en gebracht, um die vorhandene Form auszufüllen. Anwendungsgebiet ist die Herstellung von Tuben, Töpfen usw., jetzt Flie pressen oder Kaltspritzen genannt. c) Metallspritzen. Hierbei wird der zu verarbeitende Werkstoff auf eine der später beschriebenen Arten geschmolzen, durch Druckluft oder Zusatz eines inerten Gases zerstäubt und auf einen anderen Gegenstand aufgespritzt. Es können hierbei Stahl, NE-Metalle und nichtmetallische Werkstoffe auf metallische oder nicht- metallische Unterlagen verspritzt werden. In den beiden ersten Fällen spricht man allgemein von Metall spritzen, im letzten Fall präzisiert von Knnststoffspritzen, Emaille-Spritzen u.a.m. 2. Geschichtlicher Rückblick. Ursprünglich wurde das Metallspritzverfahren zur Herstellung von Metallpulver verwendet und erstmalig im Jahre 1882 durch DRP 24460 geschützt (Abb.1)2. Man lie hochgespannte Gase oder Dämpfe aus einem Rohr austreten und go in diesen Gasstromflüssiges Abb.1. Zerstäubung geschmolzener Metalle mittels hochgespannter Metall (nur NE-Metalle), welches hierbei zerstäubt Gase, DRP 24460 (1882).
