SEEMA SEKHRI, PhD, is Professor in the Department of Fabric and Apparel Science at Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi. A life member of Home Science Association of India, Textile Association of India, Textiles and Clothing Research Centre and Fibre Forum of India, she has published a number of papers in reputed national and international research journals to her credit.

With 28 years of teaching experience, she has completed a UGC sponsored major research project on Application of Natural Dyes in Home Textiles. A supervisor for 8 doctoral and 50 Master's dissertations spanning a variety of areas of fabric and apparel science.
