"OPTIMUM CONTROL OF NATURAL VENTILATION" is the ideal book that investigates a naturally ventilated building by carrying out a parametric study on its vent openings. It uses Genetic Algorithm as an optimization tool to vary the vent openings and report an optimum vent configuration. The optimum vent openings found by the optimization process in this book not only met the summer time overheating criteria for the naturally ventilated building taken as the case study but also reduced the annual energy consumed by the building.
