Diese Ent- wicklung wird von praktischen Zielen get ragen, die in Bezeichnungen wie "organische Metalle", "organische Legierungen" und "organische Supraleiter" offen ausge- sprochen werden. Ohne Zweifel nimmt die Suche nach organischen Supraleitern nicht nur wissenschaftsjournalistisch, son- dern inzwischen ebenso del' technischen Problemstellung nach die Spitzenposition ein. Es geht dabei auch um die Klarung der experimentellen Realisierbarkeit der Exzito- nen-Supraleitung, die mit den eindimensionalen Struk- turen in engem Zusammenhang steht und von der Sprung- temperaturen bis zu Zimmertemperatur erhofft werden.
