Lors de la fabrication des billettes d'acier dans les aci�ries, l'oxydation de l'acier entra�ne la formation d'une couche superficielle en �cailles sur les billettes, due au processus de laminage � chaud et de refroidissement de l'acier. Dans l'industrie, cette couche est appel�e �cailles de billettes . Il s'agit d'un d�chet solide industriel. Dans cette �tude, les �cailles de billettes sont utilis�es pour remplacer partiellement le sable dans le b�ton. Six pourcentages diff�rents de remplacement par des �cailles de billettes ont �t� test�s dans le cadre de cette �tude. Le b�ton pr�par� avec diff�rents pourcentages de calamine de billettes a �t� mis en curing dans deux milieux diff�rents pour l'�valuation de la durabilit�, � savoir de l'eau douce et de l'eau � salinit� plus �lev�e. Ind�pendamment de l'�ge de curing et du milieu de curing, il a �t� constat� qu'un remplacement de 15 % de la calamine de billettes par des granulats fins constituait la teneur optimale. Il a �galement �t� constat� que la proportion de remplacement par la calamine de billettes �tait directement proportionnelle � l'affaissement du b�ton et � la densit� � l'�tat frais. La vitesse d'onde ultrasonore (UPV) a augment� avec l'augmentation de la r�sistance. Cependant, l'UPV s'est stabilis�e avec l'�ge du b�ton, et elle �tait plus �lev�e pour les m�langes durcis en eau douce que pour ceux durcis en eau sal�e.
