It is about recovery of Gluconic acid (GA) (0.03-0.3163 mole/liter) using tri-n-octyl-amine (0.229-1.145mole/liter) and tri-butyl-phosphate (0.3652-1.461mole/liter) in hexanol, octanol & Decanol from dilute Aqueous solutions are find out. The physical extraction (Physical equilibrium), chemical equilibrium or reactive extraction and studied pH effect. By using experimental equilibrium data, the distribution coefficient KD, extraction efficiency/ yield (E %), modified separation factor Sf, stoichiometric loading ratio Zs and loading ratio Z, are calculated.
