01 Die Beanspruchungen eines Blockaufnehmers Das Strangpressen ist eine Massivumformung vom Gu - oder Walzblock zur Profilstange. Unter den Umformverfahren gehört es zu denjenigen, bei denen äu ere Druckkräfte die Umformung bewirken. Zylindrische Blöcke, die bei NE-Metallen meist durch Gie en, bei Stahl durch Walzen herge- stellt sind, werden durch den formgebenden Durchbruch eines düsenarti- gen Hohlwerkzeuges - der Matrize - gedrückt. Die Möglichkeiten der Her- stellung verschiedener Profilformen sind erheblich vielseitiger als z.B. beim Walzen und Ziehen, zumal auch Rohre und andere Hohlprofile belie- bigen Querschnitts aus hohlen Blöcken über Dorne gepre t werden können. Der Rohling wird in einem von der Matrize abgeschlossenen Zylinder auf- genommen und durch einen Kolben, den Stempel, unter so hohen Druck ge- setzt, da er zu flie en beginnt und Stoff durch die Matrize austritt. Diese Drücke werden wir als Umformdrücke kennenlernen. Abbildung 1*) zeigt den Werkzeugsatz einer Metallrohrstrangpresse. Zum Strangpressen dienen hydraulische Pressen meist liegender Bauart, die zu den grö ten Werkzeugmaschinen zählen und Pre kräfte bis zu 20 000 Mp auszuüben vermögen. 011 Umformdrücke Nach der Geometrie des Umformraumes - der zylindrischen Bohrung des Blockaufnehmers - kann man die Umformdrücke in eine axiale und eine radiale Komponente zerlegen. Der radiale Innendruck mu vom Blockauf- nehmer aufgenommen werden; dieser erleidet dabei hohe tangentiale Zug- spannungen, die zum Rei en des Werkzeuges führen können.
