Sinterwerkstoffe, besonders so1che auf Eisen-und Zinnbronzebasis aufge- bauten, sind als verschleil3fest bekannt (1; 2; 3) und werden seit 1940 vor allem in den USA, der U dSSR, in Grol3britannien, Schweden, Italien und Deutschland hergestellt. Ein grol3es Anwendungsgebiet derartiger Werkstoffe sind Reibstoffe fUr hochbeanspruchte Bremsen, wie sie im Flugzeugbau, bei Raupenfahrzeugen, bei Erdbewegungsmaschinen eingesetzt werden. Dort treten heute an den 0 ReibfHichen Tempera uren bis zu etwa 850 C und gleichzeitig Belastungen bis zu etwa 50 kp/ cm auf. Mit zunehmender Fahr- und Bremsgeschwindigkeit aller Fahrzeuge und durch die Forderung nach kleiner Baugrol3e der Bremsaggregate wachs en seit Jahren die Temperaturen und Belastungen, die an solche Reibpaarun- gen gestellt werden. Reibwerkstoffe erfordern folgende Eigenschaften: ausreichende Zugfestigkeit, ausreichende Bruchdehnung, nicht zu hohe Brinellhilrte, geringe Mal3iln derung beim Sin tern, ausreichend hohen Reibwert, geringe Reibwertstreuung, geringen Verschleil3, geringen Gegenverschleil3 (am GegenwerkstUck), wobei diese Eigenschaften gerade bei hohen Beanspru'chungen (Temperatur, hohe Flilchenpressung) interessant sind. Wenn man die Sin terwerkstoffe als Gleitwerkstoffe einsetzt, ist anstelle des hohen ein niedriger Reibwert erforderlich. In vorliegender Arbeit liegt der Schwerpunkt auf der Verschleil3festigkeit, doch sind fUr die praktische An- wen dung auch die anderen Eigenschaften mit zu beachten. Der Bericht beschilftigt sich mit Sinterwerkstoffen auf Eisen-und Bronzeba- sis, weil diese Stoffe hinsichtlich Verschleil3armut Erfolge versprechen, aber noch keineswegs nach stofflicher Zusammensetzung. Korngrol3e. Poro- sitilt. Herstellungsverfahren optimiert worden sind. Der Ablauf der Untersuchungen geschieht derart. dal3 zuerst Zweistoffsy- sterne und dann Drei- und Vierstoffsysteme untersucht werden. wobei die jeweils noch nicht zufriedenstellenden Eigenschaften laufend verbessert werden.
