Dementsprechend sind die Wirkungen an der Oberfläche und im Gefüge durchaus unterschiedlicher Art. Man ist in letzter Zeit häufig geneigt, die Scheuerprüfung schlechthin in unmittelbare Beziehung zur Gebrauchstüchtigkeit des Textilgutes in bezug auf die'genannten Beanspruchungen zu setzen und wertet ein besse- res .Ergebnis in der Scheuerprüfung als Beweis für eine höhere Gebrauchs- tüchtigkeit. Dann aber mü te eine Scheuerprüfung grundsätzlich imstande sein, diese kombinierten Beanspruchungen vollständig nachzuahmen. Es ist ohne weiteres einzusehen, da diese Bedingung für kein Scheuer- prüfgerät voll erfüllt ist. Man ist vielmehr bemüht, die Einzelprüfung möglichst weitgehend entsprechend der speziellen Beanspruchung in der Praxis zu gestalten. Da diese Beanspruchung aber unterschiedlich ist, mü te auch die Beanspruchungsart durch die Prüfung unterschiedlich sein, und der Gerätebauer mü te seine Prüfgeräte nach entsprechenden Grund- sätzen bauen und für ihr Einsatzgebiet entsprechend kennzeichn n. Dabei kann durchaus als erstrebenswert bezeichnet werden, ein solches Prinzip für Scheuerprüfungen zu entwickeln, welches im Mittel den verschiedenen Beanspruchungsarten entspricht. Weiter sollen die Ergebnisse dem Abnutzungsgrad der Praxis zahlenmä ig entsprechen, zum mindesten aber soll bei der Prüfung verschiedener Pro- ben die Rangfolge gleich derjenigen sein, welche sich im praktischen Ge- brauch ergibt. Das ist natürlich nur dann zu erwarten, wenn die Beanspru- chungsart nahezu gleichartig nachgeahmt wird. Insbesondere aber wird man nur Zahlenwerte für Gewebe usw. vergleichen können, die der gleichen Be- anspruchungsart ausgesetzt waren.
