Ob nun mit dem allgegenwärtigen Smartphone oder einer kleinen vollautomatischen Knipse etwas abgelichtet wird, oder ob ein Bild mit professioneller Ausrüstung und bewusst unter Einbezug des technischen Sachverstandes eines geübten Fotografen gemacht wird, darum geht es in diesem Buch nicht. Es soll zeigen, dass man auch mit einem normalen Schnappschuss etwas aussagen kann. In dem man ein Foto z. B. ganz bewusst einmal aus einer ungewöhnlichen Perspektive aufnimmt. Oder nur durch Veränderung seines Blickwinkels auf das Motiv das Bild auf einen nur kleinen Ausschnitt reduziert.

Klaus Erhard Kaupp, geboren 1957 in Überlingen am Bodensee. Nach Abschluss der Hauptschule machte er eine Ausbildung bei der Deutschen Bundespost und hängte nach 20 Jahren, auf der Suche nach einer neuen Herausforderung, seinen "Beamtenjob" an den Nagel. Sein Ziel war die berufliche Selbständigkeit, der Zufall entführte ihn für 10 Jahre ins südliche Afrika. Heute arbeitet er in einer Buchbinderei und lebt mit seiner Frau in Radolfzell am Bodensee. Unter seinem zweiten Vornamen Erhard veröffentlichte er 2016 sein erstes Taschenbuch, zuvor hatte er aus beruflichen Gründen "einfach keine Zeit dazu!" Seine Bücher zeichnen aus: humorvoll, mit einem leicht satirischen Einschlag und einer gesunden Portion Selbstironie. Sein Leitfaden ist: "Gute Grammatik ist von Vorteil, aber die Mundart darf nicht aussterben. Deshalb wähle ich zum Schreiben gerne die Umgangssprache, denn die versteht jeder! Und wenn es tatsächlich etwas klemmt*, setze ich Fußnoten!" * Umgangssprachlich: für den Fall, dass es nötig sein sollte
