It can be quiet and solitary or more vocal and with others. The most common themes in this art book series are the decades surrounding the Suffragette era of the late 1800s and early 1900s. This era was a time of strong women building a foundation for equal rights for the decades that followed. These decades created attention for change and brought civil rights issued into light. Many of these issues are still being debated today.
