Varner, Seth R.: - Hi! I'm Seth Varner, the creator of Wandermore Publishing, a small travel guide and history book publishing company that strives to document history and promote tourism all throughout the Midwest, in towns big and small. Having been raised on an acreage near Malmo, Nebraska (pop. 100) in my early years, grown up in nearby Wahoo, Nebraska (pop. 5,000) as a teenager, and attended college in Omaha, Nebraska, at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, I can attest that no matter how big or small your town is, there's always something to learn or see! I graduated from UNO as a Maverick in May 2023 with a Bachelor's in Business Administration. Using the skills I learned in university, I turned my passions for travel, writing, history, photography, and social media into a full-time career. While growing my business and serving on campus as a Resident Assistant, I met my wife, Eliese. We married in September 2025 at Omaha's historic Durham Museum, the former Omaha Union Station. As of November 2025, I have had the pleasure of visiting thirty-three states and eleven foreign countries. Someday, I hope to say that I have visited and documented every incorporated municipality in at least ten states. When I'm not buried in centennial books and plat maps or browsing through thousands of Facebook comments, I look for any excuse to hit the road with my friends and family for some more leisurely trips, like sporting events and country music concerts. Eliese and I are quite the foodies-we love trying new restaurants and experimenting with recipes at home using ingredients we've gathered on the road! Thank you for supporting our mission to show that every town deserves to be celebrated, as they've all got a story to share.
