1000 Days is a gripping mystery set aboard an offshore oil rig located in the Gulf of Guinea, where the crews' high morale is shattered by the shocking discovery of a crew member's body. The senior police officer brought in to investigate is convinced that the death was as a result of an accident and quickly departs the rig.

At the heart of the story is Jack Driscoll, a former military officer turned Chief Safety Officer, haunted by a troubled past and burdened by his role as the rig's guardian of safety. When the death raises questions of foul play, Jack finds himself drawn into a situation that threatens not only his job but also his sense of justice and his already fragile peace of mind.

What initially appears to be a tragic accident quickly unravels into a web of deception, crime, and deadly secrets, leaving Jack scrambling for answers in the isolated and claustrophobic environment of the rig.

Jack must also contend with Lena Kovac, the rig's mysterious and sharp-witted Logistics Manager. Lena's shadowy past and enigmatic behaviour fuel Jack's suspicions, even as a deeper connection begins to surface. Unbeknownst to Jack, Lena is pursuing her own agenda, tracking down a cartel linked to her father's dark legacy, a cartel that may have infiltrated the rig by corrupt means.

The investigation exposes hidden tensions among the crew, including Glen Hardwick, a senior engineer entangled in a contraband operation, and Marcus Puskar, whose illicit dealings make him both a victim and a perpetrator in the unfolding drama.

As Jack struggles to piece together the truth, he uncovers subtle clues pointing to several unexpected suspects.

Set against the backdrop of a violent storm that mirrors Jack's inner turmoil, 1000 Days is a tale of action-packed drama, betrayal, resilience, and redemption. With the rig battered by the elements and the crews' trust eroding, Jack must face his own guilt and fears to uncover the truth before the rig's fragile world implodes.

In 1000 Days, the clock is always ticking, and every decision is a step closer to survival, or destruction.
