Life for South African detective William Granger starts with death. His hobbies are archaeology and mythology. The members of the Barberton Heritage Committee, who control the area, are also not averse to advancing their personal ambitions. Reverend Coombs foresees a threat to his religion and way of life. And William? Does he have his own agenda? Are the symbols in the cavern forged? As the archaeological secrets are revealed the danger heightens. Betrayal and deceit becomes the order of the day.
