Prof. Dr Maan Khalil Al-Omar has a keen eye on middle eastern politics. The book further reveals how the socio-economic framework of the Iraqi society has been destroyed by external agents playing the power game in this region, including the superpower America, which is the major kingmaker and not the liberal humanitarian it portrays itself to be.


Dr Maan gives frequent references to official documents, case studies, factual data, analyses, and theoretical frameworks to back his arguments. He reveals yet another side of the middle eastern conflicts with special reference to the havoc they have wreaked on Iraq.
