This book follows the case of a thirty-three year old white woman charged with the death penalty for the brutal slaying of her ex-boyfriend and at the time, lover or sex partner, Travis Victor Alexander. The killing occurred in Mesa, Arizona on June 4, 2008. It is so rare that a woman who falls in to this demographic of our population would be facing death row. Even though the jury found Jodi Arias guilty of Premeditated Murder and/or Felony Murder, and even though the jury found Jodi had murdered Travis in an especially cruel way, this same jury could not reach a unanimous verdict on the death penalty issue. Eight jurors found no sympathy for her but four jurors did. These four jurors felt Jodi's life was worth saving. The hung jury led to Judge Stephens granting a Mistrial on the death penalty issue only. Now what? No matter what happens in the second mitigation phase, Jodi's long road in her appeal process will begin. She may be looking at death row, prison for her entire life, or the possibility of parole when she is around fifty years old. This book discusses the twists, turns, and curve balls Jodi is famous and infamous for. She may even go free. The legal process can be a mine field of loopholes for a creative appellate attorney. We must not forget this unique and unpredictable defendant with that notable name. Yes, it's Jodi, Jodi, Jodi. But we may never really know who the real Jodi Ann Arias is?
