La Belva della cella 154Anche se romanzata, questa è una storia vera che risale agli anni '80.Scrivo normalmente di notte immerso nelle tenebre con l'unico bagliore che proviene dall'esterno dello spioncino del blindato che invece d'illuminare spesso rende ancora più buia la mia cella.Scrivo libri perché credo che in Italia la giustizia e le prigioni siano quelli che sono anche perché, a differenza di altri Paesi, nel nostro manca una letteratura sociale carceraria. E la letteratura è l'anima di un Paese, per questo m'illudo di crearne una con i miei romanzi sociali noir carcerari.Scrivo libri perché vorrei che si sapesse che in Italia ci sono uomini ombra senza sogni, né speranza, umani diversi da tutti gli altri perché vivono senza esistere, in un eterno presente esclusi dal futuro, dalla vita e dall'umanità. Scrivo libri perché vorrei si sapesse che in Italia ci sono persone murate vive fino all'ultimo dei loro giorni, senza neppure la compassione di ucciderli prima. E poi scrivo anche perché ogni persona che mi legge mi trasmette un po' di forza per continuare a esistere e resistere.Si chiamava Nino, ma tutti lo chiamavano la "Belva". Nino fin da bambino si era rifiutato di sottomettersi alla vita e al mondo. E dopo si era rifiutato di sottomettersi all'Assassino dei Sogni.Nino era diventato un lottatore che non era mai sceso a patti con nessuno. Neppure con la vita.Erano diversi anni che stava dentro al ventre dell'Assassino dei Sogni. In apparenza era in piena salute fisica e psichica. Il realtà era una Belva imprigionata in una gabbia. Una Belva stanca e ammalata dalla vita. Nino era anche un uomo ombra. E nel suo sguardo non c'era nessuna speranza. Forse perché non ne aveva bisogno. Nino non era solo un uomo ombra. Era anche un ergastolano ostativo. E gli ergastolani ostativi non hanno nessun sogno da sognare. Nino era invincibile perché non era né morto, né vivo. Era solo una Belva. Era diverso da tutti gli altri prigionieri. Era taciturno. Era vissuto solo quasi tutta la vita. E ora gli piaceva essere solo. Tutti pensavano che fosse pazzo. Lo pensava pure lui. Pesava cento chili. Erano cento chili di muscoli e nervi. Le gambe, le braccia e le spalle sembravano di roccia. Aveva i capelli neri e ricci. Ed erano così lunghi che gli arrivavano fino alle spalle. Aveva gli occhi scuri e assenti. Spalle leggermente piegate in avanti. Aveva i denti bianchi e dritti. Il viso era brutto. Talmente brutto che sembrava bello. Era cattivo con tutti. Anche con se stesso. Persino le guardie lo temevano. (...) Aveva un amico, Silvestro, "u su iattu". Ormai erano passati diversi anni e Silvestro era sempre con lui. Il gatto di giorno andava in giro, ma la sera, prima della chiusura del blindato, ritornava nella cella di Nino.Quando la Belva lo vedeva arrivare dalla finestra o dal cancello della sezione sorrideva.E gli s'illuminavano gli occhi.
