La playa aún existe, aunque no sabría responder si la playa que un día sentí como propia sigue con su encanto.La mayor de las desgracias que acabó con el sueño de muchos tuvo lugar muy cerca de esa playa escondida. Hubo cantidad de involucrados ambiciosos que quisieron poseer este paraíso sin reparar en los daños que causaban; nunca lograron poseerla. A pesar de los infortunios y desgracias provocadas por estas personas carentes de moral, crecí y aprendí mucho en esos años. Ahora, con un poco de distancia, vislumbro las lecciones vividas y hasta cierto punto las agradezco, porque sin ellas no estaría en la posibilidad de compartir con ustedes esta parte de mi vida tan significativa.Los nombres y acontecimientos han sido modificados para proteger la privacidad de los involucrados. Cualquier coincidencia con la realidad es puramente casual.Después de toda la historia que les relato en este libro y que aconteció en esta playa de Quintana Roo han sucedido muchos cambios. Por ejemplo, en los últimos años se ha construido un sinnúmero de hoteles de lujo, se han pavimentado algunos de los antiguos caminos de terracería y se han construido nuevos y más amplios. También se han abierto puertos. Prominentes personajes y políticos han venido a conocer y a invertir en las playas del Caribe, disfrutando su estancia en hoteles de lujo.Las playas mexicanas reciben cada año muchos artistas. Esta zona ha sido visitada por famosos como Paul McCartney, Shakira, Piqué, Justin Bieber, Melanie Griffith, Dakota Johnson y deportistas como Rafael Nadal y Sergio Ramos. Por nombrar solo a algunos.La playa referida en mi libro se encuentra enfrente de Isla Mujeres. Urantia, como fue su nombre inicial, pertenece a la parte continental del Municipio de Isla Mujeres llamado Isla Blanca. Existe un poco de confusión en la ubicación de Isla Blanca porque, aunque su nombre se dice que pertenece al municipio de Isla Mujeres, físicamente no está localizada en Isla Mujeres sino enfrente, en las afueras de Cancún. A finales del año 2000 se encontraba la entrada a la vereda para llegar a los terrenos de Isla Blanca en Punta Sam. En la actualidad el camino principal es la prolongación de la avenida Bonampak que se une con la carretera nueva.
