This book is dedicated to the brave men and women of the Pacific Region's Emergency Response Team who face dangers as a matter of routine. These pages chronologize the troubled history of the B.C. penitentiary system - from mayhem to the secrets buried at the cemetery to the tragic death of Mary Steinhauser and her captors Andy Bruce, Dwight Lucas, and Claire Wilson.
