Eileen T. Flaherty is Managing Director of The Global Capital Group Ltd., a legal and regulatory consulting firm. She completed a two-year merit appointment from 2015-2017 in Washington DC as the Director of the Division of Swap Dealer and Intermediary Oversight at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

Prior to her public service, Ms. Flaherty was the Global Head of Compliance and Financial Crime Prevention and Americas General Counsel for the Newedge Group with a team in twelve countries. Ms. Flaherty has served as the General Counsel for Wall Street and large organizations in Chicago.

Ms. Flaherty has published numerous industry articles and her debut novel, "The Perilous Step" is set to be released on April 30, 2020.
