Warning: This journal contains: Forgotten homework assignments. One accidental science lab explosion. A brain that has 47 tabs open at the same time.
Let's get one thing straight: ADHD is not a superpower. If it were, my super power would be, "Losing My Left Shoe in a Room with No Furniture."
My name is Adda, and my brain is like a Ferrari engine with bicycle brakes. While everyone else is listening to Ms Miller talk about long division, I'm busy wondering if penguins have knees or why my pencil eraser smells like grapes. It's not that I'm not paying attention - it's just that I'm paying attention to everything at once.
This is the (mostly) true story of my life. From the dreadful volcano disaster to the time time I accidentally started chaos at a science fair while trying to be "organized", my life is one giant ADDA-venture.
Read it quickly, before I get distracted and hide is somewhere I can't find it!

Adda's story is that of many neurodiverse people, (and probably everyone) trying to figure out how to navigate life when it feels like no one understands. It also reveals how important it is for everyone, whether ADHD, Neurodiverse or not, to find a tribe that understands (at least partly) how your brain works and get's you. The fun and seriousness of life is packed in this journal with hidden tips for parents how to support their teenagers when needed. Adda's awkwardness of figuring life out on a dialy basis is something most of us can relate to...
