About The Author

Julia Spindler wurde 2000 geboren, lebt in Wien und widmet sich nebenberuflich dem Schreiben. Bereits im Kindesalter bemerkte sie, dass ihr das Ausdenken und Aufschreiben von Geschichten große Freude bereitet. Während ihrer gesamten Schulzeit schrieb sie zahlreiche Kurzgeschichten und im Alter von vierzehn Jahren ihre ersten Bücher. Mit Farben in der Dunkelheit erfüllte sie sich den Traum von ihrem ersten eigenen Jugendroman, den sie 2020 veröffentlichte. Kurz darauf erschienen ihre ersten Kinderromane, "Allerbeste Freundinnen" und "Wie mein Bruder Pianist wurde" und mehrere Bilderbücher, die sie selbst illustriert. Weitere Werke sind bereits in Planung.
