Living dolls, vampiric warlocks, cursed plains, and haunted telegrams are just a few of the horrors unleashed in this, The Fourteenth Hour. In this breakout collection of horror short fiction, Brian Charles Alexander weaves tales of sorrowful terror, maddening curses, and horrific encounters with things not of this world. Viewer, take heed!

Alexander, Brian Charles: - I'd like to primarily be remembered as a short story writer. It's my favorite form of writing and most of my novels have been completed treating each chapter like a self-contained tale. I loved horror short fiction growing up. I still read whatever issues of Weird Tales Magazine I can find online. They should really reprint that magazine for, like, a collectors special or something. Anyways, thanks for checking out my book! This was put together with stories I churned out over the last four years. Soon I'll be putting out a strictly science fiction collection, maybe a novel after that. Not sure. Got so much stuff prepared, gotta choose how I'm gonna release it all. If I had to say... my favorite stories in this collection would have to be Throckmorton, Ghost-Seeker (who is my homage to Hodgson's Carnacki), The Marionette (for its unorthodox nature), The Kuri (which I tried to write like it was an 1800s tales), and The Confession of Basil Lockehart (which is what happens when I take a Poe narrative and twist it). So I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed writing them! See you later!
