Faulkner, Randey: - While writing computer programs for a large corporation in 1969, he was introduced to Think and Grow Rich. Within one year of devouring this book, he paid cash for a brand-new Jaguar XKE and a Nova Super Sport. One day while walking out to the cars, he became awestruck by the fact that he owned 2 new vehicles, whereas 1 year earlier, he had a car parked there that he could hardly afford to put tires on. To him, this seemed like magic. That is when he started his small business called, "Do You Believe In Magic?" He made a flip chart with photos of these two cars, and for a short time became a motivational speaker explaining how he acquired them, by applying Napoleon Hill's principles in Think and Grow Rich. His closing line was, "If I can do it, so can you!" For the past 50 years he has been sharing these same principles, as well as Think and Grow Rich, with any and all. He has applied Napoleon Hill's principles in every aspect of his life, including his Goodyear/Michelin Tire Businesses, Real Estate and Music Productions. After retiring in Hawaii, he decided to move back to Southern California, so that he could fulfill his life's passion in completing an idea that came to him in the early 1980's. He started actual work on his project in the 1990's. His passion was to write a book to help anyone, especially younger folks, who aspire to become a professional in the field of art & music. His desire was to emulate Napoleon Hill's method by performing research and interviews with those who have gained success in the art & music industry. He initially turned to Chet Atkins as a source of introductions to successful musicians and artists. When Chet slipped away from us in 2001, he turned to Mr. Les Paul, for the same source of introductions. Here he spent 4 plus years, off and on, under Les' direction. From there he performed research and continued to interview successful artists and musicians to complete his life's dream of publishing Think and Grow Through Art & Music.
