Which of these generations do you belong to? I am a millennial born in the mid 90’s, we are the generation who’s been part of sending letters to friends, used landline phones, watched in a black and white tv, then slowly witnessed as technology unfolding through our own eyes.

We all have our struggles in this fast paced world right? Our grandparents struggle to keep up with us while we struggle to keep up with our nieces, nephews, sons, daughters, cos the world is basically on race right now where no one seems to be able to win. We are all getting impatient, and technology is taking over quickly. While our grandparents want to spend quality time with us and spend the day talking to us we never seem to have time for them anymore, too busy burying our faces at our phones and we never seem to have the patience to teach anything to anyone.

This book is quite a heartfelt conversation between a grandmother and a grandson where each one of them tries to understand the other, both sitting down and trying their best to figure out how they both can fit in and how they can help each other. It reminds me so much of my grandfather, I missed him dearly.

The highlight of this book for me was how two generations came together to try to understand each other, to be there for each other and their conversations are wholesome.

I love the simplicity in this book and I love how it can make an entire generation reflect on how to treat each other, a must read for every generation to understand each other better no doubt.
