Correia, M. Isabel T. D.: - Dr. Correia is a retired professor of surgery at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais Medical School, and currently, she still acts as an invited professor of surgery at the same university. She has dedicated her time to clinical practice in surgery and nutrition, is the head of the nutrition therapy team at the Surgical Gastrointestinal Department at the University Hospital, and is a member of the nutrition team Eterna at Rede Mater Dei. She is the deputy editor-in-chief for Nutrition: The International Journal of Applied and Basic Nutritional Sciences and is also editor for the gastrointestinal issue of Current Opinion in Metabolic and Nutrition Care, as well as an editorial board member for several other nutrition journals.
