S. C. Bhatia, a Chemical Engineer from BITS, Pilani, with an MBA, is a consultant specialising in environmental and pollution control, energy conservation and polymer sciences. With extensive experience in petrochemical plants, his expertise spans production planning, maintenance and quality control. An accomplished author, he has written several books on topics ranging from chemical process industries and polymer technology to perfumes, soaps, and cosmetics. His notable works include Managing Industrial Pollution, Handbook of Industrial Chemistry and Perfumes, Soaps, Detergents & Cosmetics. He has also published numerous papers in reputable chemical journals, contributing significantly to the fields of air and water pollution, energy conservation and biosciences.
