"A Kiss to Keep"' Uncommon Love Found in an Uncommon Place Everyone desires to love and be loved before they die. Yet, a large number of humans die without ever being loved. Bonita had what could have been conceived as an unnatural love relationship with her dad. He had made her the love of his life. Her dad kept their love in a box, because Bonita was the only love that was given and received. That may have something to do with the fact that everyone needs love to survive. As she came to know the spirit of love, Bonita learned that there is only one true love, no matter who the person or what type of relationship. After leaving the abusive, life-threatening marriage, arranged by her father's attempt to preserve his only love, she found true love. This love was found in places, her Prima Donna life would have never taken her. Bonita also discovered that love can be found in tough dirty places, but it is so tender, delicate and pure that it should never be taken for granted. In the homeless shelter with stinky vagrants and people from all walks of life, love gave protection, hope, provision, but most of all family. From the elderly, at the Wisdom Well Nursing home, where life was failing but love abounding, love gave joy, care, courage and belonging. With the strong bonds that were made with Bonita and her girlfriends love gave hope, friendship, strength, self confidence and boldness. Most of all, the unity with the man of her dreams, Alpine, love gave magic, fidelity, stability, comfort, security, assurance, strong hands and "A Kiss To Keep". "I looked between the spaces of his few rotten teeth and saw desperation. He had not risked entering the women's quarter to kill me, my heart sunk. "We need you here, we love you. Passion poured from his heart. "
Vivaciousvp" Her presence silently screams when she enters any room. Her words awe the crowd. Vivacious has had a career in nursing for thirty three years, and a writer since fourteen years old when she wrote for her high school paper, "The Highlander" and published poetry. Her work in the arts has always been extraordinary. Her experience expands but not limited to dancing (certified dance instructor) acting, theatre, songwriter and journalism . After receiving a degree in theatrics she founded "The Wings of Wisdom Theatrical Worship Company" where she authored and produced plays, as well as wrote songs. Three of the plays: "Gaze Upon the Throne", "The Truth About the Cross", The Spirit and the Bride" all were well received and supported by the community. Wings of Wisdom was the producers of the annual "Realize Your Dream Festival " in New Orleans, Louisiana on Memorial Day weekend that lead the city in worship, feed the hunger, and cared for the homeless until the CEO relocated to Atlanta, GA. She is a freelance writer at "Urban Spice Magazine" and the Poetry corner for "Good Friends of West Georgia Magazine". She is also the author of the recently published novel, "A Kiss to Keep". This novel inspires courage and strengthens those in life that are experiencing hardship and devastation. There is always hope. Performing at the "Apache Café" in downtown Atlanta frequently, her spoken word displays tenacity and characterizes her name: prey on the dead and bring life.
