Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2006 im Fachbereich Französische Philologie - Literatur, Note: 1,3, Universität zu Köln (Romanisches Seminar), Veranstaltung: Charles Baudelaire: "Tableaux parisiens", Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Arbeit befasst sich mit Charles Baudelaires Gedicht Les Aveugles, welches erstmals 1860 veröffentlicht und schlie lich 1861 in die zweite Auflage der Sammlung Les Fleurs du Mal aufgenommen wurde. Les Aveugles gehört dem Teilzyklus der Tableaux parisiens an, denen das moderne Paris als Schauplatz gemeinsam ist. Bei den Tableaux parisiens handelt es sich sämtlich um Gedichte, die bestimmte Aspekte der Gro stadt thematisieren, wobei Baudelaire immer wieder Gestalten vom Rande der Gesellschaft in den Fokus rückt. So stellen etwa die rothaarige Bettlerin in À und mendiante rousse, die sieben hässlichen Greise in Les sept vieillards oder die runzeligen und verkommenen alten Frauen in Les petites vieilles Themen wie Vergänglichkeit, Leiden und Hässlichkeit dar. Der Sprecher der Gedichte präsentiert sich als flaneur und Beobachter jener Ausgesto enen, ihnen gelten sein Interesse und seine Empathie. Auch in Les Aveugles sieht sich der Sprecher mit einer abschreckenden Erscheinung, die der scheinbar ziellos umherirrenden Blinden, konfrontiert. Baudelaire gilt als Begründer einer "Ästhetik der Moderne". Zwar steht er noch im Einflussbereich der Romantik, doch kündigt sich bei ihm die Abkehr von traditionellen romantischen Topoi, wie etwa die Schönheit der Natur, an. Seine Abwehrhaltung gegenüber der reinen Nachbildung von Natur formulierte Baudelaire auch selbst: "Je trouve inutile et fastidieux de représenter ce qui est parce que rien de ce qui est ne me satisfait"1. Thema dieser Arbeit soll nun die von Baudelaire postulierte "Ästhetik der Moderne" sein und wie diese sich im vorliegenden Gedicht äu ert.
