Her work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, the Orange County Register and OC Metro Magazine. Closer to home, Ms. Atkins has been published in the Seal Beach Sun, T h e News Enterprise, and the Orange County Breeze. Kathryn's mom recreated one of Kathryn's early poems in a cross-stitch piece, which is framed and hangs in her office. As president of the Long Beach branch of the California Writers Club (a 501(c)3 non- profit educational organization hailing back to 1909) Kathryn helps newer writers find their voice.
