Eduardo Reisinho is the founder and director of the House-Energy project (and its Portuguese and Brazilian version: the GuiaCasaEficiente). A graduate from the Instituto Superior de Economia, Lisbon, he has a longstanding relationship with energy issues and, since 1998, with sustainable construction and home energy efficiency, as a teacher and a writer. He has a passion for the Zero Energy House approach and is particularly committed with the European Union Nearly Zero Energy Buildings project, scheduled to start in 2018 (public buildings) and 2020 (other buildings). As an author he is especially interested in increasing public awareness about the importance of Zero Energy construction.
