Young, Terry: - "Terry Young was born and raised in Tulsa and has spent a lifetime watching the city change-first from the sidewalks of downtown in the 1950s, later from public office, and always as a student of its history. He served as a Tulsa County Commissioner from 1976 to 1984, as Mayor of Tulsa from 1984 to 1986, and later as Managing Director of the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority, where questions about roads, growth, and public decisions became part of daily work.Young is the author of More Perfect, Domestic Tranquility, and The Error of Good Feelings, historical studies exploring how different choic-es might have shaped American constitutional life.
