Unter Kanzlerin Angela Merkel hat Deutschland schon in der Staatschuldenkrise ab 2009 und später beim Asyl- und Zuwanderungschaos ab 2015 immer wieder die Aushebelung verfassungsmä iger Organe erlebt. Die Missachtung des höchsten deutschen Parlaments zieht sich wie ein roter Faden durch die Amtszeit Merkels, die ein tief gespaltenes Land und eine nachhaltig beschädigte Demokratie hinterlässt. Das Schüren von Ängsten und die Einschüchterung Andersdenkender sind altbekannte Stilmittel totalitärer Systeme. Staatlich organisierte Angriffe auf die Meinungsäu erungsfreiheit haben ein Klima der Verunsicherung geschaffen, in dem sich viele Bürger aus dem gesellschaftlichen Diskurs verabschieden, weil sie Ausgrenzung, Zurückweisung und Sanktionen fürchten. Politik und Medien haben das von ihnen erzeugte Klima dazu genutzt, Panik auf jenen Handlungsfeldern zu verbreiten, auf denen sie eine neue Agenda etablieren wollen. Inzwischen werden die polit-medialen Narrative kaum mehr hinterfragt. Und so wurde das aus der Umwelt- und Klimapolitik bekannte Herrschen mit Horrorszenarien auf den Gesundheitssektor übertragen. Dabei dient den Verfechtern einer Neuordnung des globalen Zusammenlebens eine Virusinfektion, die für fast alle Menschen unproblematisch ist, als Alibi. Seine Medienarbeit beinhaltet außerdem einen wöchentlichen Podcast sowie ein Videoformat, das ebenfalls einmal pro Woche erscheint. Neben seinem ehrenamtlichen politischen Engagement betätigt sich Peymani als Gastdozent zum Thema Corporate Social Responsibility. Der iranischstämmige Autor und Publizist ist Mitglied der Friedrich-August-von-Hayek-Gesellschaft.
