What is Kakuro puzzles and how to solve them?

  • Kakuro puzzle is a logic sum game.
  • You start with a grid that has white and black cells; the black cells contain the sum of the consecutive white cells in a given direction. The numbers used to fill the grid are 1 to 9 (no zero and no two digits). Also, the numbers cannot be repeated in a given entry.
  • There are many techniques to solve kakuro puzzles. Some of the techniques include unique sum, elimination logic and combination logic. (more about these techniques inside the book).
