Brief Introduction

彩芹和乔书培，双方的家庭条件特殊，父母不同意双方来往。彩芹因家中生变而斩断情思，独自到外地生活，而书培则继续学业，但命运又使两人再度重逢。两人开始了共同的生活，由于经济的窘迫，彩芹不得不去歌厅弹琴，书培继续大学学业，社会身份的悬殊，经济的压力，家庭之间的隔阂，另一份感情的介入，都成为彩芹和书培之间的阻碍，使得他们渐行渐远，但是最终他们之间消除了误会，克服了阻碍，发现了自己的真心所向，于是在家人和朋友的帮助下，他们重归于好。

Caiqin and Qiao Shupei come from special family backgrounds, and their parents do not approve of their relationship. Due to a family upheaval, Caiqin severed her emotional ties and went to live alone in another city, while Shupei continued his university studies. However, fate brought them back together again. The two of them began a common life. Due to financial difficulties, Caiqin had to go to a singing hall to play the piano, while Shupei continued his university studies. The disparity in social status, economic pressure, family barriers, and the involvement of another relationship all became obstacles between Caiqin and Shupei, causing them to gradually drift apart. However, in the end, they eliminated misunderstandings, overcame obstacles, and discovered their true feelings. With the help of family and friends, they reconciled.

琼瑶，原名陈喆，一九三八年生于四川成都，出身于书香门第。一九四九年，随父陈致平由大陆到台湾生活，开始写作生涯，随后进入电影、电视剧制作行业。

Qiong Yao, originally named Chen Zhe, was born in Chengdu, Sichuan in 1938 and came from a scholarly family. In 1949, she followed her father Chen Zhiping from mainland China to Taiwan to start her writing career, and later entered the film and television production industry.

琼瑶十六岁时以心如为笔名发表小说《云影》，二十五岁时出版了第一部小说《窗外》。多年来，笔耕不辍，代表作有《烟雨濛濛》《还珠格格》《一帘幽梦》《庭院深深》等，并有多部经典作品被改编为电影、电视剧，影响至深，成为一代人的青春回忆。
