Heutzutage wird es weitreichend, privat und auch beruflich, genutzt. Im ersten Teil der Arbeit werden der Drucker und die Herstellerfirma im Detail beschrieben. Danach wird die daraus resultierende Innovation näher betrachtet und der Begriff "innovation management" näher erläutert. Der Hauptteil des Textes behandelt den komplett neuen Prozess eines 3D Druckers und seine Erfolgsfaktoren, aber auch die Probleme die gleichzeitig in Erscheinung treten. Zum Schluss wird im Text das mögliche Potenzial des Druckers für die Zukunft präsentiert.
