She is continually developing new forms of expression using paper, including work with paper illustrations and displays. Emiko is president of the Paper Decoration Association in Japan, where she lives and hosts paper crafting workshops. She is the author of several Japanese books on the subject of paper cutting art, as well as Tuttle Publishing's English edition of Paper Flower Note Cards.
