Mundua, Arnold: - Arnold Mundua comes from Gembogl district in the Simbu province of Papua New Guinea. A graduate of the PNG Forestry College, Arnold is the author of numerous Award Winning Short Stories, including the 2005 National Literature Competition under Short Stories for Dramatization, the 2014 Crocodile Prize for Heritage Writing, the 2014 Val Rivers Prize for Peace & Harmony Writing and the FNWF23 Short Story Award. He is also the author of Elep Returns: The Story of a Tree and its Conversion into Paper. He currently works as a forester in his home province of Simbu and lives with his family in Kundiawa, the provincial capital of Simbu province.
